The Magic House

Before we get started, here is a picture of Gavin's soccer team after their final game last weekend.  Gavin is third from the right.
Yesterday we went to The Magic House, a children's science and discovery museum.  The boys had a great time!  They had an Alice in Wonderland exhibit this year that had lots of musical play involved.

Gavin loves the water organ!

Austin caught a fish in the back pond and threw it at the front pond and watched it 'swim' down the river to the back pond again.

Austin discovered electricity.

Both of the boys loved the Lewis and Clark exhibit.  Austin climbed in the canoe and never left it!

Gavin spent some time trying on frontier clothes and learning about the life of an explorer.

Austin was still in the canoe.

So Gavin went on an explorer obstacle course.  It was really neat!

Austin enjoyed driving the bus.

The construction play area was Gavin's other favorite spot.

President Gavin?

Both of the boys had fun playing with the giant Legos.  I liked this room because it actually had a much needed bench for adults to sit on.

We had a great time at the museum this year!  Next week I will get back to posting two or three times a week as we start kindergarten.  Thank you for being patient with me this month!
