Today was Gavin's birthday party with his friends. It went really well. Having a bigger place for the kids to play made it much easier to organize and the kids loved the castle! We also had a balloon man there making swords and shields for the boys and wands, crowns and flowers for the girls. He was a big hit! Here's the food table...

I made Gavin stop playing so I could take this picture...he wasn't thrilled...
They spent most of the time running around the castle and beating each other with their swords. Luckily, no tears!
It wasn't easy, but we managed to get the kids to sit down to eat!
The candles were the dragon's flaming nostrils!
The kids had no problems breaking down the pinata this year! Gavin gave it a huge whack and a bunch of candy fell out. We had to let the last couple kids in line hit it even though it was basically empty just so they would have a turn. The last person finally beheaded it and that was the end of the pinata. (It was a dragon, it's kind of blurry in the picture!)
Austin got an awesome duck balloon. I have to say that it is the coolest balloon creation I've ever seen! He loved it and even gave it a kiss on the beak!
That was the party! Gavin and his friends had a great time!
