It must be the only child in me, but it makes me ridiculously happy to see the boys finally playing 'together'. At Austin's age, it's more playing side-by-side but it's still progress!
Gavin and Calla painted pictures yesterday.
And then the kids all played together.
Today Calla and Austin weren't feeling well so I don't have much to report other than Gavin found a great big turtle in our backyard.
Austin had an appointment with our Parents As Teachers lady and he did great on his one-year evaluation. He scored perfectly on the problem solving activities and did well on the language comprehension as well. Then he went to the doctor and got four shots and blood drawn! It was not a happy moment for us! He is now 30 1/4 inches tall (70% percentile) and 20.7 lbs (15% percentile). The doctor told me to take him to McDonald's more often...he was joking but still, Austin is very skinny apparently. He is healthy though and that is what matters!
