Last Thursday the boys and I went to the homeschool conference in Kansas City. We had a great time! Gavin spent Friday and Saturday playing with other kids. I got to go to some interesting classes and plan Gavin's kindergarten. I will post more details about that later!
Today we got back into the normal routine and started learning about penguins again. We started reading Magic Tree House Eve of the Emperor Penguins. Gavin did a penguin alphabet dot to dot, a penguin color by number and his first crossword puzzle! The clues were pictures, it had a word bank and only six words but he really liked it.
Austin played with his piggy bank.
When he saw Gavin start to color his penguin, Austin had to color too!
Here are the books we read from today. We read the first three chapters in Magic Tree House.
We only read one chapter in Trumpet today.
We finished Reddy Fox and we've moved onto Happy Jack Squirrel.
