The picnic table Dad built is painted and the boys are enjoying it!

After reading a book about picking apples, Austin made an apple out of a small 'a'.

Gavin practiced writing words.

Then he practiced cursive letter s.  He wrote his first word in cursive, sit!

Austin did more penguin matching.  He also practiced pouring again.  I think we have about half the rice we started with but he does enjoy it!

In math Gavin worked on geometric reflections.  I made a shape on the geoboard and he had to make it's reflection.

Then he finished his Viking lapbook.

Here's the front cover.

The first page of the inside.

The second page of the inside.

The third page of the inside.

And the fourth page of the inside.

Here the the back cover.  It's hard to see but he labeled the parts of a ship (cut and paste).

I got all the parts of the lapbook from http://www.homeschoolshare.com/viking_adventure.php.
