This is my second post for today so if you are just checking keep reading when you are done with this one!  I just wanted to post a few pictures of Gavin making hoecakes for dinner.  They are basically a pancake made with cornmeal instead of flour.  I cooked them on the griddle but Gavin mixed them together.  I even let him crack the eggs today.  We ate them with butter and honey...just like George Washington!

They were not bad.  The boys both thought they were good and wanted me to make them again.  I got the recipe from this book we've been reading.
