We don't have too much to report from this morning.  Austin worked on his 'Where's My Tail' puzzle and then did snowman matching while Gavin worked on reading, cursive writing and phonics.  We skipped math today but we did do another rain experiment.  We put warm water in the bottom of a jar and then put a ziplock bag full of ice across the top.  We put it on our table as we worked to watch as the water condensed on the bottom of the ziplock bag and began to 'rain'.

We have talked about the Beaufort Scale and have been trying to use it to gauge wind speed for our weather chart.  Today we read a book about it.
