This morning the boys made their own personal dinosaur.  They colored a dinosaur, Gavin-o-saurus and Austin-o-saurus, then glued on feathers and pom poms.  When they were done, Gavin wrote about Gavin-o-saurus in cursive and I wrote about Austin-o-saurus, as dictated by Austin.  Here are some pictures!

This is what Gavin wrote about his dinosaur:

"This is Gavin-o-saurus.  He likes to play soccer and football.  He likes to eat fish and deer.  He likes to run and play with his friends at school."

And here is what Austin told me about his dinosaur:

"This is Austin-o-saurus.  He eats fish and dogs.  He likes to sleep and take baths.  He likes to play with police cars."

By the time the dinosaurs dried Austin was too busy playing and didn't want to stop and have his picture taken.
