Thanksgiving Crafts Begin

Today Gavin, Austin and I worked on getting our family room downstairs cleared out since that's where I want to have Gavin's birthday party. We have Gavin's invitations done and ready to send out this week. Gavin found some chapter books and decided that today he was going to learn how to read. Maybe he should learn to put his shoes on the right feet first...

Then, Gavin worked on some Thanksgiving activities. He traced the sun and ocean and colored the Mayflower and helped Clifford the Big Red Dog find the biggest pumpkin in a maze. He even apologized to Clifford when he went the wrong way!

Then Gavin put together a Pilgrim boy and girl, basically paper piecing. He decided to glue them on a paper so he painted the paper with the Mayflower and Plymouth. Then he put the Pilgrim boy on the Mayflower and the Pilgrim girl on Plymouth.

After we finished our Thanksgiving activities, we went outside and played for a while.
Here are some pictures of the boys together. Gavin went and grabbed the camera and asked me to take a picture of him with his brother.
